I can’t help it, whenever I see floral-inspired shades in spring, I think of Meryl Streep’s deadpan delivery of, “Florals for spring, ground breaking,” from The Devil Wears Prada. Of course, there’s a reason florals come back in vogue so often. Spring is a time of renewal, growth and Deborah Lippmann certainly brought that energy and vision to her Spring Reveries collection.

Sunday Funday – I’m On A Boat!
At this very moment, I’m likely to be soaking in the sun on the Caribbean Princess as I head to Cozumel, Belize and Honduras. I’m on a much needed vacation with the boyfriend and while I’m sure I’ll go through withdrawls having no internet access for a week, I’m looking forward to doing absolutely NOTHING but swimming, reading and eating my face off. Vacation food is 0 points on Weight Watchers, right?
I’m not posting this to rub it in your face, more to let you know why your comments are sitting in moderation and why your emails, tweets, etc are going unanswered.
But, fear not fanatics, I have plenty of content scheduled for while I’m gone, including a couple guest posts from my blogging pals. I look forward to reading each and every comment when I get back and responding to all of you asap.

Fans of boutique nail polish brand, Cult Nails, may have suspected that changes were afoot when the brand hosted a warehouse clearance sale recently. In 2014, Cult Nails is going back to its roots by switching its model back to Limited Edition collections. They will always offer basics, but the seasonal collections will be just as limited as the hot handbag of the season. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!
The newest collection from Cult Nails, Passionate Dreams, arrived just as I was preparing for my vacation. So, even though I don’t have time for a full on swatch fest, I wanted to show you the colors before the pre-sale ends on January 30th.

Zoya Naturel Tape Manicure Nail Art
Looking at the Zoya Naturel collection as a whole, you can see how the six shades of skin flattering neutrals fall easily into pairs that can be used for multi-colored manicures or nail art. Inspired, I decided to pull out the striping tape and create a design that incorporates the entire collection.
