So I know Urban Decay Naked 3 ($52) is on my wish list but I just couldn’t resist when it became available on the UD website last Monday. I pulled the trigger before I could even think about it.

You see, it wasn’t supposed to hit outside retailers until January and with the original release selling out in less than a day, I couldn’t bear not knowing if my family would be on it to pick up this rose gold-colored gem. I’m impatient, I know, but I use Naked 2 on the daily and I’m all about rose gold lately.

Then came the news that Urban Decay pushed up the release so Naked 3 is now available at Beauty.com, Macys.com, Sephora.com and ULTA.com in addition to UrbanDecay.com. Oh the Sephora Beauty Insider points I could have received, ugh!

So if you didn’t jump the gun, like me, you can hop over to your favorite online retailer now and pick up this beauty or wait for it to hit stores on December 12th. Mine arrives tomorrow and I CAN’T WAIT to play with it!

Are you a fan of the UD Naked palettes? Which one is your fave? Do you plan to get Naked 3 or do you already have it? Share your eye color combo ideas in the comments!

This palette is indeed on my wishlist, but since it’s pretty pricey, I think I’m going to play Frugal Santa and treat myself to a similar palette from Sonia Kashuk – Eye on Neutral Shimmer 3 (http://rstyle.me/n/dqi3iwt4e).

  2. Chris says:

I already ordered mine. I can’t wait to get it! The only Naked palette I’m missing is Naked Basics. :)

  3. Marilyn says:

I bought it last Monday too but mine isn’t due to arrive until the 13th. That didn’t work out for me getting it early at all. Oh well! I love pinks. This is the first Naked I bought. I’m hoping it’s as good as everyone says. It was my birthday recently so I splurged on different palettes. I’m set for the year & beyond!

    • Michelle Mismas says:

First, happy belated birthday. What a great gift to give yourself. Second, I hear ya! Mine was supposed to arrive today via USPS but given that my mail has already been delivered, I guess I have to wait until tomorrow. :(

  5. Miss Louise says:

I REALLY want this palette! I’m trying to be patient, but I don’t know if I can wait until chistmas!

  6. Phyrra says:

I love Naked 3 and Naked Basics. I love mattes for mixing with brights or shimmers. I love Rose gold too! I’m sure you’ll adore it.

  7. Kim Teague says:

So I called my local Sephora when UD.com restocked and asked when they were getting Naked3, needless to say the woman was RUDE as heck. But UD sold out before I got back online, so when they launched early on Sephora.com I snapped it up and used my $20 off $50, plus I had free shipping and 8% back off ebates.
I can’t lie I thought I was over the rose gold trend and this was over playing it, but I managed to find the Sally Hansen Gold Roses polish and turns out I’m just late on the band wagon cause it looks amazing on me.

  8. Anika says:

As soon as I got the email from Sephora that it’s available I placed my order! I would’ve asked for it but was worried it would be too tough to track down. PLUS I had $20 off thanks to being a VIB so ya can’t beat that. Too excited to play with it. :)

  9. Allison L says:

I held off knowing that Sephora had it’s $15 and $20 off of $50 coming out any day. And it worked out perfectly! They had it in stock and I ordered with $15 off!

  10. Frankenstyna says:

Swatches and eyeshadow looks, PLEASE!!! We must see!

  11. CeCe says:

I ordered it from Sephora and used a discount so paid $40! It should be in my hands by Tuesday!! I use and enjoy Naked 2 also.

    • Michelle Mismas says:

Yay! Mine was supposed to arrive today but I think it won’t be til tomorrow now. So much for 2-Day Priority, USPS. :(

  12. Jo Smedley says:

I’ve never used Naked palettes before but after reading this, I might just give them a try!

  13. FRAN says:

Just bought it today at Ulta! Had to have it! I love Naked Mattes!

  14. TeriG says:

I ordered Naked 3 from Sephora right after I read your blog post! I’ve never had UD before, but you sold me on this palette! I didn’t know about the $15 off from Sephora, so I paid full price, but I almost don’t mind — Naked 3 is so gorgeous, and I love pinks! The packaging is awesome, too. I was lucky, I got it yesterday, and will be playing with it today.

  15. Rachel Kurtz says:

Oh, I am so glad I saw your post! I ordered mine after reading that it is out now! This will be my first UD Naked palette! I have very fair skin, blue eyes and natural dark blonde hair. The other palettes seemed like their colors would tend too orange or dark on me. This one looks just right. I am excited to use the lovely pinks! I am recovering from left shoulder and left elbow surgery I had Dec. 17, so am spending a lot of time online–I am catching up on some of your posts I have missed. I am left-handed, so this one-handed experience is very frustrating! I love your blog and your posts are amazing. Thank you for all your wonderful work and Merry Christmas to you and all you followers!

    • Michelle Mismas says:

Oh yay! I hope you love Naked 3. I can only imagine what a bother it is to only have use of one hand. Feel better soon!

      • Rachel Kurtz says:

Thank you, Michelle! It really is a bother! I wonder when I will even start wearing makeup again. We’ll find out when I attempt it tomorrow!
