Mannequin Hands is a new series featuring ALU Fanatics showing off their “mannequin hands” shade. The one polish that best gives that elongated, flesh-toned look to their hands.

The Mannequin Hands series continues on.  Today the Polish Hoarder shows off OPI Sand In My Suit and here’s what she has to say about it,

“I don’t know what made me buy this polish. I’m drawn more to bright, unique colors. I think I got it because it was like nothing I already owned. I’m so happy I did! It’s such a pretty nude color. How can a skin-toned color be pretty? It has tiny shimmers! In the summer, when my hands are much more tan, this color makes my nails pop from my fingertips! The shimmer reflects light like a string of pearls. It’s just gorgeous!”

Who else uses Sand In My Suit for the Mannequin Hands look? I hope the Polish Hoarder will let us know what her skintone is so you can possibly find your hand twin.

I didn’t love Sand In My Suit on myself, and it was the first polish I bought from the South Beach collection. Maybe I’ll have to try it again.

  2. Caity says:

Looks a little too tan to be my mannequin hands nail polish- I’d need something a little more pink for my skintone. Very pretty, I love the shimmers!

  3. Nicole says:

I love Sand in my Suit. I don’t think it looks just like my skin tone, but I do love it. It’s one of my favorite nudes, and one of my first polishes when I got into polish.

  4. Mc Huggs says:

Your nails and hands are so beautiful Michelle. Love this new format and the web page. Did you want to change it or did face book force you to change it? Just curious. Been away for awhiole. Wonder if I was missed?

    ((((Love Michelle))))

Those are really beautiful and elegant manequins.

  6. I almost bought this this past weekend! Now I kinda wish I had!

  7. Amanda says:

this is the prettiest mannequin hands yet! (honestly I haven’t liked most of the rest…). I think it’s the shimmers. Yes, I would love to know her skintone. And I would also like a litte more info on this polish? What collection is it from, and is it still available?

  8. Barbara says:

I tried Sand in my Suite when it first came out and I found that, while the color is really gorgeous, application is a problem – it tends to go on streaky. Maybe OPI has changed the formula since then.

  9. Sanna says:

it looks awesome on your fingers:)

  10. ggs says:

Pretty! But like Barbara in above post, I had application issues with my bottle. This color is verrrry similar to Rescue Beauty Lounge’s Ani, though, which applies like a dream. Both make me think of pearls & seashells ;)
    Great summer colors.

  11. Cherie says:

I loooove this shade on me! It’s my favourite nudie colour, followed by Pearls Night Out. I’m NW15 in MAC for reference. :)

  12. FauxFlush says:

Your cuticles are INCREDIBLE. I have total cuticle envy. Men would not understand this.

  13. PolishPig says:

I love Sand in my Suit, it’s one of my favorite nude. I would have sent my own notd with that if I had not missed the dead line (often do, works too much).

  14. I bought this nail polish after I read this post, it’s one of my favorites now! It just gives you such a sophisticated look! And that shimmer is gorgeous!
