Mirror, mirror on the wall where I can I score the best beauty deals of all? On The Fairest of course!

If you’re a fan of sample sale sites like Gilt, Ideeli and HauteLook you may have wondered when a beauty focused version would come along. Well wonder no more because launching today is The Fairest! With prices up to 75% off of retail, The Fairest brings you some of the biggest names in beauty at drastically low prices via their limited time sales events.

They’re kicking off with items from Stila and Coola and later this week you’ll find a selection of goodies from butter London. Pretty cool, no?

And as if this wasn’t news enough, The Fairest launched their own blog, Who’s The Fairest?, and I’m one of its contributors. Who’s The Fairest? is headed up by Editorial Director Nadine Jolie and will bring you beauty advice from real women for real women. She’s assembled a diverse and unique team of bloggers that will cover the gamut when it comes to beauty. I’m so excited to be a part of it.

So head on over to The Fairest, sign up to become a member and you’ll start receiving updates on their latest sales.

In the interest of full disclosure, I am not compensated by The Fairest for this post or any contributing posts on Who’s The Fairest? I do receive a commission for any referrals to the site through my links but that’s something they offer all members.

I've wanted to try butter for awhile now, but couldn't justify paying so much just to try it. Needless to say I signed up.

Thank you for informing us! I probably wouldn't have known about the site for months.

I was wondering if anyone can explain more about Gilt Groupe, Ideeli, etc. How expensive are most of the things sold? How do they make a profit if the items are sold at a discount? Are they last-season or something?

  5. Euridice says:

No, I hadn't wondered when they would have a beauty version of sites like Gilt and Ideeli….what the heck was wrong with me?! Thanks for scoop on this, can't wait to check out the blog as well.

Milk with Tea – You're so sweet, thank you.

Shattered – You're so welcome. I hope you like the brand.

Sprinkles – I'm not uber familiar with how those sample sale sites work but there are great deals to be found. It doesn't hurt to sign up and see what they have for sale each day.

Euridice – Too funny! If only I had the know how to have launched something similar earlier. I knew it was just a matter of time before something like The Fairest would come along.

I'm so excited about this. About time someone applied this concept to cosmetics!

Sprinkles — I don't know about The Fairest, but for Gilt and Ideeli, most of the items appear to be last season.
