The hit UK nail polish brand, Nails Inc, is FINALLY easily available to US Fanatics thanks to their launch at Sephora. Select Sephora stores, including CLE’s own Beachwood Place location, and Sephora.com are now carrying the Nails Inc. line.

Fourty of Nails Inc most popular nail polish colors along with their Special Effects Crackles & 3D Glitters, Crystal Colours and treatments are headed Stateside and I couldn’t be more ecstatic. I’ve been a fan ever since I fell for their Kensington Caviar Top Coat at Cosmoprof a couple years ago and I’m so happy the line will be more accessible to us. Keep reading for a closer look of which Nails Inc products are coming to Sephora.

Last winter we got a peek at one of the Chanel Fall 2011 nail polishes when Chanel Graphite hit the runway but it’s Chanel Peridot that seems to be getting all the buzz. Is it green? Is it yellow? Are we talking Chanel duo-chrome?
Inspired by the heritage and savoir faire of the artisanal craftsmanship of the House of Chanel, Peter Philips, Creative Director of Chanel Makeup, introduces new textures and makeup effects in a radiant Fall 2011 Collection, ILLUSIONS D’OMBRES DE CHANEL.
At the heart of this captivating colour story: Shimmering bronze, gold and platinum are the perfect complements to plum, khaki and copper shades on eyes and lips. Unique reflections of metallic green, silver and beige on nails provide the ideal counterpoint.
“Illusion d’Ombre is a new and exciting product, that’s easy to apply,” says Peter Philips. “I would suggest finger application. The texture is unique and has a very pleasant touch.”

More like, let’s get this GLITTER party started! As part of Nordstrom’s annual Anniversary Sale, Deborah Lippmann has yet again put together a glitzed out set of glitter polishes called Get This Party Started.

Nothing says ‘Party’ like the magnetic sparkle of glitter. So for the biggest party season of the year, I’ve created shades that truly dazzle. Get This Party Started, a set of three glitters, was inspired by the overwhelming demand for my best selling Happy Birthday, a glittery party in a bottle. The set includes Happy Birthday, along with two new variations of the sparkling shade: Forget You and Candy Shop. They’re both packed with the same unique hexagon-shaped glitter that gives Happy Birthday its magnificent glint, only Forget You has a sheer black base and Candy Shop a bubblegum pink.
I love how festive all three look and feel, whether wrapped a round a champagne glass or peeping out of a glamorous pump. But what I truly love the most: how a few coats of any shade instantly transform you into the life of the party.

THE HOTTEST METALS GET CRACKLED
China Glaze Introduces Six New Crackle Glaze Polishes in Sparkling Metallics for Summer 2011
There are even more crackles on the horizon. Crackle nail polish fans can rejoice over the China Glaze Crackle Metals collection. I’ve recently been playing with some metallic crackles from Sally Hansen and OPI and as much as I haven’t given in to the trend, I must admit the metallic versions are pretty cool looking. A whole collection of metallics definitely has me intrigued. My only question is, where is the GREEN crackle love?

It’s time to play the music
It’s time to light the lights
It’s time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight
Oh.My.Gosh!! The Muppets are partnering with OPI. Let me repeat. THE MUPPETS ARE PARTNERING WITH OPI!!!
I can’t even begin to tell you how thrilled I am over this news. I tend to love OPI’s Holiday collections more than any other in the whole year but with the Muppets involved I’m already calling it THE collection of 2011.
As a kid I lived for Sunday nights when The Muppet Show would come on and I still have my Kermit and Miss Piggy puppets from way back then. I seriously worship the genius of the late Jim Henson and watched anything he was involved with; Labyrinth, Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas, The Tale of the Bunny Picnic, Fraggle Rock.
I seriously freaked out when I saw Bean Bunny at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Don’t judge I also cried when I met Tigger! What? |
Anyway, I know this is a LONG time out but I just had to post about it. The reported color names are:
Animal-istic
Meep-Meep-Meep (can you even stand how cute this sounds?)
Wocka Wocka!
Pepe’s Purple Paassion
Designer…de Better!
Warm & Fozzie
Rainbow Connection (We sang this in elementary school)
Excuse Moi!
Gone Gonzo!
Fresh Frog of Bel Air
Divine Swine
Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It!
Please tell me there are others as excited over this news as I am? Who is your favorite Muppet character? And where’s the love for Janice?
***EDITED TO ADD – While I do not have an official release date, based on previous OPI Holiday launches, I would expect to see these on shelves no later than November 1st, 2011. Burlesque was pushed up to October 1st so that is a possibility as well.
