MAC Style Black Nail Lacquer Swatches & Review
 I’ve long said that in regards to polish MAC does dark and glittery colors best. Vin Goth, one of my all time fave shades, is a perfect example. The recently launched Style Black collection is the ideal vehicle to showcase their lacquer strong suit. With black makeup, including the hard-to-pull-off black lipstick, making a huge statement this season the dark polishes in this collection are an ideal compliment. Check them out after the jump! |
Lancome La Collection Lollipop – Beauty for a Cause
 Lancôme’s La Collection Lollipop was previewed at the Chris Benz presentation during NYFW in September. I got my first glimpse of this charity inspired collection when two of the polishes graced the models’ fingers and toes at the show.

Get The Look – Jenna Ushkowitz in Glee
 Where are my fellow Gleeks in the nail polish loving community? I’ve been obsessed with Glee ever since its premiere last Spring after American Idol. I’ve watched each episode multiple times and have downloaded all the songs on iTunes. I even got the boyfriend to watch. It may be time for an intervention.
You may remember that I wrote about the cast and their nails last May. Ever since, I’ve been trying to figure out what shade of blue Jenna Ushkowitz wears as Tina. Thanks to Glee’s Makeup Department Head, Eryn Krueger Mekash, I now know. Find out after the jump! |
New Features on the CND Website & A Giveaway
Have you visited the CND website since Colour & Effects launched? If you haven’t you’re missing out. Here’s what’s new…
You’ll find links to Jan Arnold’s Fashion Week Blog filled with tons of videos and posts about her experience at NYFW (there’s even a bit about me on Day 3) and to the CND Nail Style Competition. Pro nail artists get a chance to go backstage with CND and see the nail magic happen up close and personal. Having been there, I can say it’s an amazing experience.
And on the Colour & Effects landing page there’s a Colour Comparison Chart helping you to discover dupes to beloved CND shades in the new line.
