Couple sought in robbery of SW Houston bank – Houston Chronicle

A man and woman remain at large after FBI agents said they robbed a bank this evening in southwest Houston.

The couple was together about 5:45 p.m. when they entered the Wells Fargo bank branch at 2824 Hillcroft.

The woman, described as a 5-2 tall with a small build, waited in line until she gave the teller a note demanding money. She also claimed to have a gun, officials said.

Fearing for her life, the teller handed over some of the cash from the register. The woman then left as her male partner held open the door for her, officials said.

No injuries were reported, FBI agents said.

The woman had long brown hair pulled into a ponytail and wore black and green nail polish. She wore an oversized white and black flannel jacket, a white shirt and blue jeans, FBI agents said.

Her partner was described as being 5-feet-6-inches to 5-feet-9-inches tall with a thin build. He wore glasses, had long sandy-brown hair, a mustache and goatee. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt with three white skulls printed on the chest, FBI agents said.

Crime Stoppers will offer up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the bank robbers. Call 713-222-8477 (TIPS).
