Henna - Thanks for the compliment. It's just so weird to my nails in sheer polish.

Aida - You could always try a nail whitener. Sally Beauty Supply carries one called Bubble White and Orly makes one as well.

CoutureCouture - For me, dragging usually occurs when I don't wait long enough between coats. The polish is still wet so it pulls with the 2nd coat.

what causes cuticle dragging as i have opi dinkum pinkum and it does the same thing !! i love the shade tho is there anything i can do to stop it?

You should check out the Essie white bright pen to help lighten the tips. I wear a lot of sheers, and this does an amazing job. I used it under Allure (a mil white-pink shade) and it looks like an american manicure.

Although, I’m not that crazy about wacky colored sheers. No matter what, they always make my nails feel dirty.

Ugh. All the work that gets put into a manicure, and then you can barely see the polish? No thanks. I’m not a vampy girl either, but I want colors that SHOW. Plus sheers are so unforgiving on my ridgey nails – even after buffing, I never get an even finish with only 1 coat, & 2 usually makes it worse (much like the pic of the white). Sigh. Let me know when the new (opaque) blues & greens are out.
