7 Marsala Nail Polishes You Can Get Right Now!

Marsala Nail Polish via @alllacqueredup

Marsala Nail Polish

A browned wine shade, Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2015 is Marsala. It’s so 90s, like Brenda Walsh’s lipstick on 90210. And given that we have similar coloring, I wore the heck out of it myself. In fact, I recently discovered an old tube of Estee Lauder marsala-colored lipstick at the bottom of backpack purse, buried in a trunk with some things from college. Yes, I said backpack purse. It was green suede and I wore it everywhere!

Longtime readers know that I host a March Madness-style nail polish battle for the Color of the Year, last year it was Radiant Orchid Madness. Bronze & Gold Lace Nail Art

Happy New Year! It’s crazy to think that it’s been eight years since I started All Lacquered Up. Eight years! It was a time when 3-Free was barely a thing. When I discovered a basically unknown brand at a Seattle airport kiosk called butter LONDON.

When I was the only nail blogger. When all of my nail polish fit in one cabinet as compared to needing its own room. So many amazing things have happened since then, so many changes. But one thing remains the same, my love of nail polish and desire to share it with you.

The traditional 8th anniversary gift is bronze and the modern gift is lace so I decided to combine the two in a bronze & gold lace nail art look. Take a trip down memory lane with me and enjoy my tribute manicure.

Season of Giving Giveaways – Day 8

TGIF friends! Anything fun planned for the weekend? We have an annual holiday party and gift exchange on Saturday and I’m hoping to test our a new cookie recipe. I’ve been baking quite a bit lately and the boyfriend’s co-workers have been reaping the rewards, instead of my thighs.

It’s the last day for the Season of Giving Giveaways and it’s a big one! My friends at Zoya allowed me to curate a gift set containing TWELVE Zoya nail polish shades. And they’re throwing in a Zoya Color Lock System and gift box. The best part, THREE of you will win!

It was hard for me to narrow down my fave Zoya shades to just twelve but it’s a good mix of new and old favorites. In the box: Zoya Sooki, India, Julieanne, Charla, Ivanka, Crystal, Trixie, Yuna, Raven, Remy, Song, Jo.

All giveaways will be open for 48 hours. This giveaway is for US residents only.

Zoya Ignite for Fall 2014

True to form, Zoya is giving us two new collections for fall, one set of cremes, one set of shimmers. Once October hits, I am ready for my nails to sparkle and, ever since the Fall 2007 Downtown collection, I’ve always looked to Zoya to get my fix. And the Zoya Fall 2014 Ignite collection does not disappoint.
