At the spring Karen Walker show for Fall 2007 we saw bright blue and yellow tips. Now as we look towards spring, the look is softer. CND customized three pastel shades for the show in yellow, pink and mint.

At the Diesel show the look for the models was very clean, uniform and subdued. So the artists at CND created a low key matte finish tip in Cocoa.

At the Marchesa show, CND Nail Noir was used on the fingers and toes to add a chic and glamorous touch to their collection of evening gowns and cocktail dresses.

NY Fashion Week Nail Watch – Badgley Mischka

At the Badgley Mischka show the nail focus was on the toes, not tips. With such bold fuschia lips on the models, I think it was a wise choice on CND‘s part to do a nude/pale shade on the fingers and bring in color at the feet. It made for a nice color balance. With the peep toe and clear strap shoes the models were wearing, a buffed pedicure would have been boring. ***Edited to add: the toe color is a layering combo of CND Fedora with Decadence on top. ***

Thanks to the fabulous Julia from Red PR for directing me to these great shots taken backstage at Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC. I originally thought the models were sporting stark white tips but up close I can now see that the artists from CND created a funky reverse french; similar to the look seen in the Sephora Spring Catalog.
