NY Fashion Week F/W 07
Seeing a Creative Nail Design nail tech in the last pic has me hoping that this color will be part of an upcoming collection.
Get the look with China Glaze Stone Age.
Ok, this is a complete judgement call by me but I’m going with navy as the polish color at 3.1 Phillip Lim. Feel free to correct me if you think my monitor is off or you just KNOW I’m wrong. I’m open to criticism.
My favorite navy polish is China Glaze Up All Night. It has a shimmer so subtle that it only adds depth to the color. You’d almost swear it’s a creme. Also check out NYX Sapphire if you have access to that brand.
The quintessential red is OPI I’m Not Really A Waitress. It is their best selling polish for a reason. It is a flattering red shimmer that suits most skin tones. Also check out OPI Malaga Red for a classic red creme. FYI… it is the color of choice for the “World’s First Supermodel” Janice Dickinson.
I recently wore China Glaze Masai Red and it is another gorgeous red creme. I wish I hadn’t botched my mani before I got a chance to snap a pic for you all because it’s definitely a winner.
I’ve adored Tracy Reese ever since I saw her interviewed by Lauren Ezersky on Behind The Velvet Ropes. I’m still sad about the Style Network yanking the show off the air. Anyway, now I outright love Tracy Reese. How very chic of her to have her models wear moon manicures. A style that was created in the 1920′s the moon manicure is not easy to do but it sure is eye-catching. Bravo Ms. Reese!
