Growing up, all I knew of Hawaii was what I saw in the surfing movie North Shore (not the FOX TV show, though I watched that too) and that my mother wanted to go but felt it was one of those places that you visit and never want to leave. If I had a dollar for every time she said, “If I go to Hawaii, I’m not coming home,” well, I wouldn’t have to work.

Between the television commercials, magazine placements and drugstore displays you can’t miss it. On a recent trip to Bed, Bath and Beyond I spotted a display with three new COVERGIRL Outlast nail polish shades. The duo-chrome pigments immediately caught my eye so, of course, they all came home with me.

On Christmas Eve, I was taken with this manicure posted on the Cult Nails Instagram page using the “Secret Collection.” The concept being that you didn’t know the contents during the pre-sale. Now that the pre-sale is over, the cat is out of the bag.
A quick jump over to CultNails.com and I spied this “mystery” collection on sale for half off. With a green and blue in the lineup, it was a no-brainer for me.
