 Essie’s Winter collection, A Winter’s Tale, brings us yet another GREEN! You’d think I’d get sick of greens after a while but I really don’t. I still get excited when a new one comes out in hopes that it will be totally different from the plethora of greens in my Hoarders-worthy collection.
Chase winter’s chill with a shot of smoldering color and a hint of mystery. Whether it’s a glittering New Year’s Eve bash or a quiet tête-à-tête by the fire, this sexy palette of intriguing colors speak volumes without you ever uttering a word. As you make your entrance, let them be beguiled as they wonder, “Who is that Masquerade Belle?”

 Fashion’s Night Out, as Nancy from Beauty411 would say, was a cluster! I chose to go to SoHo and I think every other person on the planet was there. Seriously, cars couldn’t get down the street because people were standing twenty deep outside a store just to get a glimpse of a celebrity.
With over 900 events at stores all over New York City, trying to figure out a game plan was a challenge to say the least. Of course I KNEW I was going to the new Chanel SoHo Boutique, how could I not, but the rest of the night was up in the air.
With my friend, and roommate, Nancy at my side we trekked all over SoHo marveling at the crowds and accidentally stumbling across one of my Top 29 events of the night. Read on to find out all about my Fashion’s Night Out adventure with Chanel, Essie and MAC. |

 What’s that? It’s still summer. You’d never know that based on the number of fall collections that we’re being inundated with. Is it just me or do the fall colors seem to be coming out earlier? Maybe it’s because I’m really enjoying my summer and while I’m all about some of the Fall collections, I’m not ready for it to start just yet. The longer I can keep the Cleveland winter at bay, the better.
It seems like forever and a day since I previewed the Essie Summer 2010 collection. Oh that’s right, it has been forever and a day. Based on the pastels and florals spotted on the Spring/Summer runways, Essie has mixed soft hues with punchy brights. |

 Get your wallets ready for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Each year during Nordstrom’s annual celebration they release a plethora of Beauty Exclusives in the form of limited edition products and sets. As in years past, Essie and Deborah Lippmann are part of the festivities.

 Ever since I first laid my eyes on a pic of Dominica Green on the MUA Nail Board many years ago, I’ve been dying for Essie to bring us another fabulous green and I know I’m not alone. Well our wishes have been heard. The Essie Summer 2010 Collection includes what looks to be a stunning vivid green.
Summer is special. Aside from the wonderful outdoor activities that we wait for all year, we also revel in the opportunity to now wear lighter, brighter and more playful clothing. Finally, we can shed the wool and mohair for cotton and linen. The keyword for summer is: fun! So shed those boring, drab clothes and at last, indulge in seriously sensational color! Don’t be shy — make it the time to play with bold, playful color combinations.
