Following up her glittering, jeweled-toned fall collection, Deborah Lippmann is taking a different tact for spring. She’s lightening things up with whisper soft shades in her Spring 2014 “Spring Reveries” collection.

This spring, Deborah Lippmann brings to you Spring Reveries, a collection of six alluring pastels blooming with possibility for the season. Inspired by Deborah’s love for botanical gardens and flowers, these new shades are ethereal and poetic, inviting you to an imaginary magical garden.

You have me dreaming of spring now! Too bad the freezing rain outside isn’t feeling the same way :)

  2. These are so disappointing. A spring collection of Easter egg pastel cremes? ::yawn:: The only one I can see being original in any way: La Vie en Rose. With that shimmer, it might pull it out of boredom.

  3. Chris says:

I like Flowers in her Hair

  4. kel says:

they look nice but i worry with light shades that they won’t be opaque enough. look forward to your swatches and reviews!

  5. madrose says:

La Vie En Rose is the one color I’d be curious to see. Not so sure about the others, just like you I prefer a smooth, non-chalky finish.

Deborah Lippmann increased their polish price by another dollar this year? Not too keen on that as they had a price increase last year (as did a lot of others, OPI & Butter London to name a couple). Haven’t noticed any new price increases from other brands this year though. Hmpf.

  6. Fedoraharp says:

Most of these don’t look super unique, although Buttercup seems to be a take on yellow that I haven’t seen around. $18 is pretty steep for colors that you can find in virtually every brand, but I *would* like to see swatches of the yellow and the pink for this collection. They seem like they might be unique :)

  7. Cathy M says:

Can’t wait to see swatches of these. I think these look better than the Dior collection, and hopefully they look better on than the swatches I’ve seen of the Diors, which were disappointing.

  8. Linda says:

I agree, not unique, even Butter London did what looks like identical colors last year. Not that I don’t like the colors… I also thought “Hope they’re opaque!!”

  9. These look beautiful, I can’t wait for Blue Orchid and Build Me Up Buttercup!
