Zoya Naturel Spring 2014 Nail Polish

Zoya Naturel

If the Spring 2014 runways taught us anything, it’s that the neutral nail is coming back in a big way. Hold on to your seats, color lovers, it’s going to be a bumpy ride. Kicking off the trend is the Zoya Naturel nail polish collection, launching January 1st, 2014.

The natural nail only better… The Zoya Nail Polish Naturel collection masters delicate tone on tone color with six new, full-coverage (opaque) neutral nudes with a pink undertone, that can be worn beautifully alone or stunningly together to create modern tonal accents.

The Look: It’s not about matching – it’s about coordinating colors with slight tonal differences to create interest.

And to drive “The Look” home,  Zoya has provided some nail art ideas, below, for wearing Naturel. Keep reading to get an up close look at the shades.

The Zoya Naturel collection includes:

  1. Thanks for the coverage Michelle!

  2. georgia says:

So did Zoya copy the Naked3 palette, or vice versa?

  3. ??? ???? ?????? says:

Where can I get this colors?

    • Michelle Mismas says:

Hi! I post purchase information at the bottom of every post. These will be available January 1st at Zoya.com

  4. Lorraine says:

Prices going up for all their polishes, I suppose. But luckily zoya is generous on the promos. This is a very pretty collection and on trend. Enough of greige, white and beige -I like the idea of mauve as the new nude- this is a very flattering way to wear neutral but it always gets a bad rap as a grandma color! Can’t get enough of modern mauves. I will probably pick up Brigitte, Odette(Swan Lake!) and Normani. All are gorgeous and fashion forward for everyday wear. I hope we get to see some swatches closer to the release date.

  5. Ellie Cook says:

If Rue is the color my computer shows in the nail art pics it may be THE color I’ve been searching for! I wonder if the swatch spoons will be available before 1/1/14!

  6. Helena says:

I guess this is the nail polish version of the Naked 3 palette!

  7. Brittnee says:

    Super excited about these!!!

  8. kel says:

these are to light for me. no interest.

  9. Gina says:

Are they raising their prices? Usually cremes are $8/bottle. Colors look beautiful though!

    • Michelle Mismas says:

I guess so Gina! It’s not surprising. I’m sure costs go up for them, like in any industry. Inflation, good times!

If we must have neutral nails, these totally look like the way to go…especially for cool-toned white chicks like me. Is there going to be a release for ladies of darker/warmer skin tones? Thanks!

  11. Exactly – Zoya views them as naturals rather than nudes. If one happens to be a perfect skin tone match – yes, it will be a nude on that person but that same color may also look just as good on someone with very different coloring too.

The thought of our color experts here was to create a tranquil, soft, transitional group of neutral creams that will look good on many different skin tones and mix/match nicely together for subtle nail art options resulting in the “Naturel” nail look :)

In.Love! Can’t wait to try the natural nail art. What a great idea from Zoya! Do I have to wait for spring to wear them? :)

  13. So excited for this collection, these colors are gorgeous! I can’t wait

  14. Elizabeth says:

I try to purchase Zoya from either their web site during promos, or from Ulta during their promotions. Ulta does a buy two get one free pretty regularly – plus you can use their coupons ($3.50 off a $10 purchase). However, their selection can sometimes be on the thin side, but I have been lucky and picked up whole collections from my nearby Ulta.

    • Michelle Mismas says:

Yeah, my ULTA seems to run out of stock soon after they get a new collection in. I always buy straight from Zoya during a promo.

  15. Galaxia @ Nail Care Enthusiast says:

I’d love to try any of these Zoya polishes! My kinda shades :)

  16. Lily says:

I love the nail art look with Rue & Odette! I *might* try it. I will definitely be doing some tiny, delicate, tonal dotticures with these though! :D I love Rue, Bridgette, and Odette best. Those are my must haves! So super pretty!

  17. Ellie Cook says:

I just got the 3 colors from this palette that I thought I would like. They are horrible!!! They look nothing like the colors I see on my monitor. If you’re interested be sure to order spoons to see if you really like them. I’m SO disappointed! :(
