To help make your pre-order decisions a bit easier I sorted through all your helpful comparison suggestions to give you a better idea of how the colors really look.  I wasn’t able to address every request but I think I came up with some comps that will assist you.  One thing you won’t find here is the use of the word “dupe.”  As we’ve come to expect from RBL, these colors are un-dupeable.  Keep reading to see what I mean.

OPI Katy Perry Collection Swatches & Review

Katy Perry combines her love of music and nails to introduce a new line of lacquers with OPI, launching January 2011. Inspired by Katy’s cutting edge style and latest album, Teenage Dream, the Katy Perry Collection by OPI will include four fierce, irresistible colors for nails and toes.

Complementing Katy’s already daring nail trends on and off the red carpet, a revolutionary Black Shatter™ formula will accompany the collection to create a ground-breaking cracked pattern when applied over each dried bright lacquer.

Katy Perry has become a celebrity nail icon thanks to her eye catching nail designs so it only seems natural that a brand like OPI would want to partner with her.  Though to be honest, I am surprised that she hasn’t collaborated with a brand know for nail art, like Minx.

The Katy Perry Collection utilizes the new OPI Black Shatter polish to add some artistic flare to the colors which include a duo-chrome, sparkly red and two glitters.

Those I words I never thought I’d utter.  You see I grew up in a Ford/Chrysler home so it has never occurred to me to venture into Chevy territory when buying a car.  So why am I telling you this?  Well the Northeastern Ohio Area Chevy Dealers approached me about participating in their Gotta Love Chevy Girls On The Go program.  Over the past few months bloggers from the area have been test driving different Chevy vehicles and doing fun missions that highlight the features of the car.  Considering that I have no real experience with Chevy I decided to take on the challenge.

Over the next few weeks myself and two of my fellow CLE bloggers will be driving a Chevy Cruze around town putting it to the test during a harsh Cleveland winter.  You can follow our adventures on the Gotta Love Chevy NEO website.

It’s no secret that I’m not a nail art fan. I’ve always said that I appreciate the artistry, creativity and certainly the skill involved but it’s just not my bag. I do see designs from time to time that wow me but I won’t be jumping on the nail art bandwagon anytime soon.

However for those of you who are into nail art but professional services, including Minx, are out of your budget and DIY’ing isn’t in your skill set, Sally Hansen has a solution for you.  The recently launched line, Sally Hansen Salon Effects, are nail appliqués made from real nail polish.  These easy to apply nail polish strips come in an array of styles including solid color glitters and neons for those of us looking for a zero dry time, on-the-go manicure solution.

I recently gave the strips a go putting the “Lasts Up To 10 Days” claim to the test.  Keep reading to see how they fared.
