nordstrom-beauty-exclusives-lippmann-essie Get your wallets ready for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  Each year during Nordstrom’s annual celebration they release a plethora of Beauty Exclusives in the form of limited edition products and sets.  As in years past, Essie and Deborah Lippmann are part of the festivities. The Beauty Exclusives are available now for pre-sale with a ship date of July 16th.  This year we’re getting a sneak peak at Essie’s fall colors with the early sale of the collection’s mini set and Deborah Lippmann is starting her 2010 glitter party with her Fallcolors and Anniversary boxed set.

deborah-lippmann-fall-holiday-anniversary-2010 We got an advance look at Deborah Lippmann’s Fall and Anniversary shades during Fashion Week and they’re finally here.  It seemed like summer was so far away.  Where did the time go people?Five of the seven shades are releasing exclusively at Nordstrom before they hit the Lippmann website in August.  They other two, the silver and gold glitters will come out in fall for the holidays.

The All That Jazz trio comes in a silver case and includes full size bottles of Razzle Dazzle, Some Enchanted Evening and Lady Sings The Blues. The set retails for $40 (a savings of $14).

Razzle Dazzle: darkened raspberry sizzle.
Some Enchanted Evening: pink salmon shimmer.
Lady Sings the Blues: silver-sparkled blue.

The Fall 2010 Collection polishes are sold separately for $18/ea. The glitters retail for more than the other Lippmann polishes. I don’t know when that started.

Essie’s Fall collection mini set retails for $17 and I’m all over those greige and dusty lilac colors.

Like I said above, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Beauty Exclusives are available for pre-sale with a ship date of July 16th. The limited edition sets tend to sell out fast so if you have an urge to buy I suggest you jump on it. I already ordered the Essie minis for myself and I hope to have swatches of the Lippmanns for you very soon so stay tuned!

Beautiful! I need to see these swatched before I buy. Some of Lippmans glitters are great, but can be a bit sheer for my taste.
    I’ll wait for your swatches!
    Thanks for the heads up!

I’ll have to pass on the DL collections. I just don’t honestly have that many occasions when it’s appropriate for my nails to look like a disco ball. They’re fun, but just too impractical at over $10 each.

The essie collection, though, I’m excited for. I just hope the greige and dusty lilac are different enough from all the other greiges and dusty lilacs we’ve seen so far (from essie, no less). I’m SO loving the mini sets – I’ve bought them for the last two collections and it’s worked out so well. I did cave and buy a full size of Neo Whimsical and Playa del Platinum (wearing it right now!), but I definitely didn’t need full size bottles of the others, and I’m glad I got to find that out for a fraction of the price.

  3. Lauren says:

I have never been into glitters, but Across The Universe (love the name) and Bad Romance are sucking me in! Could those colors be more gorg?! I’m taking the plunge. I hope they don’t disappoint in person. I also dig Some Enchanted Evening.

  4. Nicole says:

gosh reading this blog is hard on my wallet! Had to go and order all those Deborah Lippmann polishes STAT!

  5. Morgan says:

This item can not be shipped to your country :(

  6. Sarie says:

    Yeh that sucks!

  7. Taxi says:

Aaaah, I love Bad Romance & Across the Universe! And I never really buy glitters or shimmers…these are amazing, I want them badly, I bet it’s impossible to get them in my country though.

Essie seem to be quite cool too, especially this brown and beige (?).

  8. NailPolishFan says:

I love Lady Sings the Blues and Across the Universe. And the Essie collection is very pretty, too. I might have to go with the Essie collection over the Lippmann collection only because, it’s cheaper.

  9. Andrea says:

I think I’m gonna like the chocolate coloured Essie!

  10. Anna says:

I really really love some enchanted evening and lady sings the blues. I will not buy them because I would probably never wear them, but I love them all the same.

  11. Kelsey says:

Do you know what is the name of the green/gray Essie in the mini set? (2nd from the left in the photo) I love greens. :)

  12. nailpolishes says:

Amazing colors…please we need to see their swatches :D

  13. Cat says:

I agree with Nicole! All the Lippmann Collections are beautiful and I had to order Across the Universe and Bad Romance right away. While I enjoy the All That Jazz collection, Razzle Dazzle and Some Enchanted Evening I find just to be okay (at least in the bottle). They are pretty but for the price, I’m not THAT much in love with them. Lady Sings the Blues on the other hand? Absolutely gorgeous and it alone is tempting me to buy the set just for that, however hard my wallet disagrees. Does anyone know if there’s any way to get that one separately, though?

    • Virginia says:

All of the colors in the Jazz collection are supposed to be available separately after the anniversary sale. At least that’s what I heard.

  14. Elusive M says:

I die every time Lippmann releases a new glitter polish, they’re so f-ing gorgeous!

  15. I’m pining for every one of those Lippmanns!
Do you know if Some Enchanted Evening is sheer?
If it is, it would probably look stunning layered over a deep brown or navy.
Thanks for contributing to the lemming population yet again ;)

  16. Lunuland says:

Ahh…I love these! Do I need to drop the money on them? I think I may wait for some swatches…I wish the collection was Bad Romance, Across the Universe and Some Enchanted Evening. Then I’d be on it for sure!

  17. Chelsy says:

Thanks for this! I love the Lippman’s but a bit too pricey, still debating on the Essie collection.

  18. Kimberly says:

I’m not really an Essie fan but I actually like 3 out of the four.

  19. adrienne says:

i definitely need those 2 deb lippmann fall colors!!!!

  20. Scarlett says:

I just wanted to say that after discovering your blog my love of nail polish has been reignited!
And that 8ty8 site? Oh, I’m in trouble already. (but yay for the new colors I’ve got coming!)

  21. GwenSA says:

I’m definitely going for the essies, and will wait to see the Lippmanns swatched. Does anyone know if essie does minis sets often? I’ve only seen one other at a TJMaxx.

    • Rachel says:

I’ve seen mini packs from almost all Essie’s collections at ulta, if you have one nearby!

  22. GwenSA says:

Quick question on essie polish, if anyone can help; I have a bunch of bottles that do not have the ‘e’ on top of the bottle brush handle. Would this mean that it has an older formula w/the chemicals? Thank you for your help.

  23. Christine says:

    I WANT ALL OF LIPPMAN… NOOOOOOOOOO~

  24. Sarah says:

I’m dying to see the Lippmann glitter swatches!!

  25. Denette says:

I love the Lippmann glitters, but I don’t love that they are cost more. That dusty light lilac-y Essie looks gorgeous and I NEED it!! I can’t wait to see your lovely swatches!

  26. awww i’m kind of bummed with essie sneek peek, but i do like the sage color

  27. Kathryn says:

  28. Allyson says:

I am SO excited for these! I ordered them all, as a birthday gift to myself! :-)

  29. lola says:

Hey Michelle, are you planning on swatching Essie’s “Sew Psyched”? I heard it’s a dupe for RBL’s Diddy Mow?
