I called and apparently they mixed up my order with another with a very similar number (mine ended in a 6, the other ended in a 9). The polishes I ordered arrived today – all there and all intact. They were able to ship it out quickly on the 23rd, and with faster shipping than the original order. And luckily it wasn’t a gift for anyone, so the timing wasn’t a big deal. Diamond Cosmetics didn’t say anything about returning the polishes they accidentally sent me, so all in all I ended up with 4 free polishes (including a second bottle of Don’t Teal My Heart Away!). They did a good job fixing their mistake, and I’ll probably order from them again if I find more colors of theirs that I want.

Forsythe is the parent company of Color Club and Art Club the same way Art of Beauty is the parent company of Zoya & Qtica. I know they do private labeling like Diamond. I wish I had a Meijer nearby to check out these Massini polishes.

I know for a while people suspected the Icing polishes were made by China Glaze because the bottles are the same but they aren’t. I think unless a company pays to have their own bottle shape made, like Lippmann, Essie and Zoya, there are only so many stock bottles out there.

I have read in a couple of places that both Massini and Color Club are made by Forsythe. Lately I’ve been seeing bottles with Studio M label showing up next to the Massini ones–same bottles and colors just different name brand.

I believe I read somewhere (was it Scrangie’s blog?) that Massini is made by Color Club. We don’t have Meijer here so I’ve never seen them before.

BUYER BEWARE! After the Diamond Cosmetics discovery with the teal color, I made a purchase on their website. The package arrived today, and only one of the five polishes that arrived was one of the six polishes I ordered. Luckily that one was Don’t Teal My Heart Away. But I was rather disappointed that the other four polishes that arrived were not colors I ordered, and on top of that one bottle had completely broken and spilled inside the package. I just emailed Diamond Cosmetics, and will be calling tomorrow to sort things out.

On my monitor, the Kaia House and the Priti look the same, but the Diamond looks slightly more blue… could just be my monitor. On a similar note, does anyone know if Massini nail polish (found at Meijer) are made by Color Club? Some of the names and colors appear to be exactly the same-i.e; Fashion Addict, Runway Muse, Rainbow, Electronica…
