I get gel nails regularly, Akzentz instead of Calgels, though. I haven’t had a nail break since I’ve been doing it. I love getting a new art design every month, usually some variation on an ombre or fade design. I’m inspired by the rainbow tips, though, as that’s right up my alley!

i tried calgel towards the end of summer. i did a grey gradation effect and i LOVED it. soaking them off weren’t too hard (i ended up buying calgel remover off the internet instead of paying to have them removed). i actually checked out Heather Park’s site when i was researching calgel and the designs she gets are amazing. unfortunately i work non profit and i moonlight as a dj so i’m not rolling in the bucks or else i would do calgel more regularly. i went to sakura (east village location) but valley in the lower east side also does calgel.
