I went to Trade Secret today in the hopes that I could find Essie Body Language but no dice. I couldn’t get the shade out of my head though, so I stopped by a MAC counter and they had one bottle of Light Affair left. I like how it looks on my very fair skin – it’s conservative, but feels edgier than a typical pink or red shade.

Incidentally, Light Affair is listed as “sold out” on the MAC website.

Just went out & bought Dim The Lights earlier today thanks to this blog. And I must say it looks fantastic! Just like I dipped my hands in chocolate & let it dry! Yum Yum!

I agree, chocolate brown looks so good on nails. I know some people think it looks poopy but I’m not in that camp. They have such a warm, fall feel

I love them both! I looooove chocolate brown nails they look so good! I’m not sure how the lighter one would look on my skin tone, I have fair skin so I’m not sure if it will be too washed out. May give it a go!

hell yes to light affair! without looking at your nails, it looked a big eggplanty, which I like, but doesn’t look the same on your nails.

I was just painting my nails with Light Affair now… when suddenly desided to check your blog. And – I m surprised to see you review on it on the front page!
I bought it by the way as substitute for Body langadge which takes 3 howrs to dry on me over NailTek II foundation…
