I have oilslick and when teamed with Sapphire Sparkle on the top it really pops.
Inkwell their blue black polish with sapphire sparkle is also a winner for me.

Hi,

I hadn't seen NFS before but I have Oilslick on my shopping list. I can't find a comparison anywhere of either of them with Zoya's Envy (which I do have). I think Envy seems a tad yellower, but I was wondering if it's pretty close to NFS, since I can't find NFS anywhere (yet, still looking).

Thanks for any insight you can offer!

I absolutely love the look. I think it is also very appropriate for this season as well. I also love mixing pigments with clear nail polish to come up with new polish looks!

I agree, the matte/glossy nail art is fun. I love the polka dots Steph from Steph's Closet does with the matte top coats.

Hi Kirsten! Yep, CND is a US based brand. CND was formerly known as Creative Nail Design. ULTA carries the brand. You can find it online as well. I have some polish e-tailers listed in my sidebar.

I like both but it depends what I'm wearing it over. Some colors look like bad flat wall paint on me with the super matte top coats.

Yeah, it's very satin like Orly's matte top coat. Sometimes I prefer that look but the milkiness didn't work over such dark colors.

You think? To me, Essie, China Glaze and RBL are all the same. You'd think they were made by the same company.
