Wow! That’s crazy. I hate those displays for that reason. They ship like 3-6 bottles of each color to a store and that’s it. So lame!

I think some of the e-tailers still have it, but all of the Ultas (I checked 3!) near me sold out. In less than a week!

I don’t think it was universally panned. I think a lot of people didn’t like it and then when Deb posted about how she intended the polish to be worn, it caused a lot of backlash which was much more vocal than any fans Funky Chunky had.

I didn’t hate Funky Chunky. It’s different and based on my own knowledge of how hard it is to create a black glitter I can appreciate the thought behind the shade. We tried to make a black on black glitter for the Barielle ALU collection and it looked like gritty tar!

You know it’s funny, the trend seems to change back and forth. I saw a lot of matching tips & toes for spring but for fall it was more about coordination. I have too many polishes to match so I always mix it up but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with matching.

I’m so glad for this! Especially glad to know that matchy-matchy nail color on tips and toes is a big faux pas–one that I can honestly say I am NOT guilty of. Anyway, loving the new format! Makes it so much easier to comment.
