OMG all these colours are so stunning and gorgeous. I love how the shimmer gives it a bit of dimension. I recently bought OPI Suede polish and I love them, but find them sometimes a bit too glittery and shiny, even for a semi-matte. But these Zoya MatteVelvets are perfect! Too bad Zoya polishes are also a rare site in my city.

Mel: make a paste with baking soda and water and brush your nails with it. I heard that is supposed to help remove the yellow stain.

I ordered the pink one, but haven't receive it yet. Now, I wish I would had ordered the other two.

I love the matte nail polish. Also a tip that my salon gave me, use a ridge filler as a base coat. I use the one by Essie. It makes all my polishes last longer!

Got mine, loved them all!!! Can't decide which one is the fave yet and I wore multi colored nails for about 3 days! I use a nail strengthener as base coat too and they lasted nicely. The colors are SO beautiful and very different. I have the Fall Mattes too, and I'm happy with them all. With a top coat, it's a whole new effect so I'm doubly pleased!!!happy. BTW, I didn't have any trouble removing them, but you can't rush it either...

Thanks for the suggestions of topcoats. I'll try them out. Oh, and Envy (also by Zoya, a dark, dark green) was on my nails for ONE DAY, and it turned my nails yellow even with a base coat. Ew. I haven't painted them all week and they're still yellow. WTH?!

Queenfrostine - I have that exact problem with my Zoya matte -- a chip right in the middle of the nail. I don't get it! I BARELY get 24 hours use of it. Strange.

I only have two mattes, both Zoyas. One of them is from this collection (Veruschka) and I LOVE it. Applied like a dream. Haven't tested the wear though since I normally switch polish every other day.

You know I've actually had really good luck with wear with Zoya mattes. Even with no base or top coat, I can go 4-6 days without chipping. My nails seem to chip less overall than most people's so that might account for some of my success. OPI Mattes are a completely different story, unfortunately. I love my OPI Suedes, but I start getting tiny chips in odd places (like in the middle of the nail, where normally I might only chip at the edges)in less than 24 hours.

Matte top coats are definitely more durable overall than matte polishes, but I'm just not as attracted to the top coat as I am the polishes. They look completely different to me and I'm just not as fond of how my glossy shades look matte as I am the matte shimmers Zoya and OPI put out this fall.
