Calling all nail addicts! Been feeling a bit left out of the Mizzworthy/Illamasqua Alter Ego make-up competitions? Fancy showing us your nail alter ego and be in with the chance of having your work seen by top nail artist Sophy Robson?

Then start getting your ideas together to win some fabulous Illamasqua Nail Varnishes that the Nail World has been going crazy for…

FEAR NOT if you have untidy cuticles or a slightly wonky hand as this competition is being judged on creativity and artistic flair as opposed to technique and professionalism.

Get your thinking caps on Fanatics and start crafting up some cool nail art to WIN some of Illamasqua’s amazing Nail Varnishes.

Illamasqua has teamed up with the incredibly talented Sophy Robson to host this fun “alter ego” nail art competition and I hope you’ll all try out your nail skills and enter. You all know I don’t have a steady hand and I’m not exactly a nail art girl but I’m going to make an attempt anyway.

You can get the full details on the Illamasqua Blog but here is the jist:

Between now and September 6th… submit a pic of your nails decorated to represent your alter ego. It doesn’t have to be perfect, just creative.

Sophy will choose a winner from a short list of finalists. The winning looks will be revealed on September 16th.

The Prizes –
1st Prize – Two brand new Autumn Winter collection nail varnishes + choice of two others from core range

2nd Prize – Two runners up win a choice of three varnishes from core range

I’m just DYING to see the A/W shades, aren’t you??

So head on over to the Illamasqua Blog to learn what you need to do to enter and start snapping some cool nail art pics!

Oh this is an awesome contest! I wish I could do nail art even a little! I just think nails are too small to do much, and I don't have konad :(

  2. Berry T says:

    is it open for internationals??

  3. Berry T says:

would u happen to know if this is open for international??

  4. All Lacquered Up says:

Danica – I'm with you. I'm not skilled and I refuse to buy a Konad stamper but I'm willing to give it a go. Try practicing on fake nails or a nail art wheel and buy some cheap nail art brushes from Sallys. You may surprise yourself.

Berry T – It is open for international. Good luck!
