I have really bad ridges on my thumb nails, I think due to tearing off artificial nails years and years ago. I do not use them anymore but the ridges are still apparent. Do you think I could use this treatment on my whole nail rather than a ridge filler? Loving your blog! Thanks!

OMG. Had I only read about this a few days ago, I wouldn't have had to file down all ten of my nails. I'm growing out the ridges from my acrylics after removing them (never again), and one of my nails has a crack (and I mean crack) right at the stress line... So I filed it as short as I could and then proceeded to file my other nails to match. I was sad at the shortness, but now I know that I don't have to go the drastic route again. Thanks Michelle!

Thanks for the review on this! Does it work well for broken nails? My nail split horizontally about halfway across. Of course, it broke on an angle so it's really down there on the nail bed. I'm trying to save the nail long enough for it to grow out a bit so it won't be horribly painful. Would love any input!

I don't use the buffer pad provided, I use one of those 4 sided buffers and use 1, then 2 and then 3.
Clean the bottle neck really well with polish remover before you close the bottle. And tighten the cap as tight as you can. It's pretty much "super glue"

LOVE THIS STUFF!! A few added tips: you CAN use acetone based remover, you'll just have to redo the fix a few mani's down the road. TIGHTEN THE CAP ON THE GLUE HARDER THAN YOU THINK YOU NEED TO! I've heard over and over how it dries out so I do that...have had mine for 6+ months now and still the glue is good after many uses.
Great stuff and super easy!

I just had a set of solar nails removed. I finally kept them on long enough that my natural nail grew out. I wanted to remove the nails and just keep my natural long nails but I knew it would be next to impossible because they would be so week and flemsy. After reading this blog, I ran out and bought this set at Sally Beauty Supply......IT'S THE GREATEST THING I COULD HAVE USED. I applied it to my nails, and buffed and was able to keep my natural nails. There was one draw back. Because I had just had the solar nails removed, my natural nails were not only thin, but extremely sensitive. When I applied the glue, I was ok, but putting it into the powder made it feel like it was on fire. That was my fault for not giving my nails a couple of days to heal. But it only lasted a couple of seconds and I was able to finish my nails and now, for the first time in my life, I have a set of long, strong, gourgeous, natural nails and this product is the only reason why. I'll always keep some on hand.
