Greetings from Vegas

I made it to Vegas for the CosmoProf show safe and sound. I’m all checked in to my room at the Mandalay Bay and it’s lovely.

I was told I had a pool view but that doesn’t even begin to describe the “beach” at Mandalay Bay. Isn’t is gorg?? There’s even more than I couldn’t fit in the shot, like a lazy river. Too bad it’s like 180 degrees outside and my skin will probably fry like bacon. But if I get time, I just may have to indulge.

So for the next few days I’ll be at the show checking out what all the salon brands have brought to exhibit and unlike the saying; what happens in Vegas… shows up on ALU. I’ll be live blogging, tweeting and twitpic’ing from the event so be sure to check back for updates throughout the weekend and Monday!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend Fanatics!!

Wow the Mandalay Bay looks terrific. I think I might consider staying there the next time I'm out in Vegas. I look forward to your post and tweets from the CosmoProf show. I was in Vegas during 4th of July weekend so I know what you mean about it being "180 degrees".

I flew back from Vegas yesterday. Hotter than hell, huh! Anyway, Mandalay Bay has the best pool in the strip. If you find yourself craving seafood, try the RM Seafood restaurant. We ate there before seeing The Lion King on Wed. The food is to die for! Try the shrimp dishes. Best of luck in the casinos!

Wow, that view is gorgeous! Hope you have fun and I look forward to your posts about the show! Being a relatively new ALU reader, I'm also curious how you get access to so many great shows. Do the companies send you invitations to check them out? New York Fashion Week = to die for – I'm so jealous you were there!! :)

    Aaaah, you're so lucky!
I was in Vegas last January and stayed at Bellagio, but I did take a walk to see Mandalay Bay. It's way gorgeous, and I saw the pool too.
It would be a dream come true being where you are now :)

Sooo jealous! I've always wanted to stay at Mandalay Bay just because of the amazing pools. They have great shopping there too. Next time I'm in Vegas, I definitely want to stay there.

I *love* Mandalay Bay. We're staying at THEHotel (the all-suites tower there) in September – and I am planning on bringing Mandalay Ruby and Cha-Ching Cherry for luck!

If you have the urge to splurge on dinner, Aureole at Mandalay Bay – we tried it in Feb and it was fabulous!

Can't wait for the posts on the show! I just came back from Vegas a couple weeks ago. Boy was it dry and hot, I think it was 118 degrees for 3 days straight, lol. Mandalay looks great, I stayed at Ceasar's and was way happy with their pools and service. There were so many stores I almost passed out…I resisted and only bought stuff with gambling winnings from my hubby, lol. Best of luck to ya!!
