hey michelle! being able to build color is much easier than dealing with goopy sloppy thick polish and you can’t just reduce, but have to start over if you aren’t happy with the results =p

Thinner, I hate gloopy polishes! You can never get a nice finish, no matter how much you try. So frustrating!!!

Option A, as even if the polish is pigmented enough to be opaque in 1-2 coats I’m not skilled enough to make a polish with crappy texture look good in only 1-2 coats. However, if it’s so sheer it needs more than 3? I’d hate it.

Thicker polish that looks great in 2 coats. I won’t do 3 coats of a polish no matter how many raves it gets. If I don’t like it with 2 coats, it finds another home.

The first.

I learned long ago, lots of small thin coats save you time in the long run b/c you'll be redoing your manicure far less often. It just seems to chip less, peel less, not get dinged, just generally wear longer.

That's why jellies are my fav. They force me to put down many thin coats to get a great color.
