I've just ended up keeping rubber gloves at home for some things in order to protect my manicures. One thing I've learned easily ruins manicures is Frontline or Advantix (the flea protection for dogs). They say to avoid contact with your skin, but it's kind of hard to do with squirmy dogs! It kind of freaks me out that I'm putting it on my dogs if it can ruin polish, but supposedly it's safe! There's another product I use that ruins polish but I can't think of it right now, but like I said, I just keep a box of gloves and problem solved! Cool tip!
