I feel like we’ve seen this collection from OPI before. It doesn’t look much different from their brights collection from 2007. A lot of their releases lately have felt like barely tweaked reformulations of old polishes and this seems to be the case again. Very safe and boring. Honestly, you know there’s trouble when Essie (which all but consistently bores me with their more traditional shades) releases a summer collection that appeals to me more than OPI’s. They’ve really dropped the ball IMO. It’s come to the point where I now expect their new collections to put me to sleep. At least their colors for their Sephora line are a little better. I wish they could bring back that creativity to their main line!

Ugh, not too thrilled. The blue reminds me of a ''just groovy'' dupe. (Which I like but don't own, so I might actually get this one) The taupe looks like ''you don't know Jacques'', and the purple looks almost identical to China Glaze ''Spontaneous'', maybe a tinge off. I want to see someone come out with a nice bright lime green! C'mon OPI! *sigh*

Perhaps they can explain why a taupe (that reminds me of dishwater after you’ve cleaned your used-for-fried-chicken cast iron) belongs in a “brights” lineup?

Ouch. These Paige people want $200 a pop? I suppose little bottles of polish are good advertising, but it would be better if the colors were less nap-inducing.

I’m intrigued by the taupe … but is it just a reworked ‘You Don’t Know Jacques’? The rest of the colours just remind me of the Psychedelic Summer Collection. No real must-haves.

It seems to me that all the collections have an orange, a purple, a raspberry, a gray, a red, and a blue. I don’t like OPI’s purples, they’re too grey. But they tailor their colors towards the older ladies, so I guess it works for them!

We’ve seen the same before from OPI, they have really let us down this year especially considering the India, France and Toyland colections last year. I bought at least 3 from each of these collections and love them all. I do like some from the South Beach collection but not as excited over them as previous ones. I don’t think I need any from this brights collection.

This one- Over The Taupe, has nothing to do with summer or brights. Looks [lain dirty, but not exciting. The rest are okay to me.
