You kids love a good Frankenpolish, right? How can you not? You get to play mad scientist to create that perfect nail shade. Honestly, my fave part of New York Fashion Week is seeing the amazing blends that the CND artists create for each designer. Whether it’s matching a specific Pantone color/swatch of fabric or just letting their creative juices flow, there are always a few shades that I can’t wait to get home and mix up for myself.

The one major prob with this scenario… getting a bottle to create them in with a good brush and mixing balls. Yes, there are bottles for sale online if you hunt them down but let’s get real, the ones most of us buy have a big, round, awkward cap, a crappy brush and no “balls.” So your only other option is to dump an old, wrecked polish or buy some cheap brand just for the bottle. To remedy that problem we have GoIndulge.com.

GoIndulge is the brainchild of CND Educator and FW backstage team lead Angi Wingle (pronounced like jingle). At GoIndluge.com you can buy all your favorite CND products and polishes including some DC’d shades like NFS. You read that right. She has some HTF bottles of NFS for sale but that’s not all.

To satisfy all us nail fanatics that are part of the frankenpolish phenomenon, Angi is giving away empty CND bottles as part of a special offer. If you purchase the “ingredients” to one of CNDs Fashion Week custom blends, she’ll throw in an empty CND bottle to mix in. Here’s how it works:

Use the search at the top of the page to find your favorite designer color! We will mix it for you to purchase! Or purchase the recipe “ingredients” and get 1 empty bottle free with each recipe! Use coupon code FWRECIPE

So as I post my backstage recaps, if there’s a custom blend shade you just love, head on over to GoIndulge.com, type in the designer’s name and either purchase the pre-mixed color (mixed by Angi herself) or buy the recipe shades and receive an empty bottle to blend in. Sweet deal, no? While you’re there, you can pick up other ALU CND faves like Solar Oil, Cuticle Eraser and Stickey base coat. What are you waiting for? Get to shopping! #NYFW

This is a great site! My quickly growing polish problem just got a little more serious. Thanks for the tip!

BTW, I’m so jealous of you at fashion week. Hope you’re having a fab time!

I wonder if CND will be offering custom blends from past seasons. Like that bright orangey-pink color from philip lim last year maybe…

If not, can I still get the free bottle if I purchase any two colors to mix?

Hello! Angi from http://www.goindulge.com here. Michelle, thanks for the plug.
It was great getting to know you better at Fashion Week this season!

Just wanted to let your readers know that I am OUT of NFS as of a few moments ago. Sorry.

Also, the Philip Lim from a year or so ago is Orange-a-Peel and Burn. I have both of those in stock. Add both to your cart along with an empty bottle (as if you were purchasing the empty) then use the FWRECIPE coupon code to receive the bottle free. BTW the mix for Philip Lim was 1/2 of each color.

I will soon have all the recipes from this past Fashion Week in NY on the site. You can search by designer or by custom color using the search at the top of any page of the site.

I’m not going to be stingy with the empty bottles, basically if you order a couple of colors, add the empty to your cart, you can use the coupon code to get a free bottle whether it is a recipe from FW or your own concoction, you nail mixologist you! oooh ha ha (supposed to be an evil laugh for effect to go along with the frankenpolish theme)

    Thanks all!

Thanks for your response Angi! I can’t wait to make that mix a la Phillip Lim (and call it burnt orange perhaps?)

    Cheers,
