Bought Asiatique last week, and it is a gorgeous creamy red! I only like Cream polishes from MAC, and this is my favorite as of yet!! The rest of the collection was a bit of a bore, IMO.

From reading your review & the comments, I guess my kind of complexion is unusual (?), since these two colors look really good on me! I'm happy whenever a cool, bluish violet, lilac (etc.) nail polish, lipstick, eye shadow or liner is released, so I went out & got both "Dame Edna" polishes – and I love them both! I'd say that if you have a very cool undertone to your skin, whether it's dark or light, they'll both look good on you…

Raye – I’m sorry, I guess I wasn’t very clear. What I meant is that the polish matches the packaging for the other products in the collection; the lipsticks, lipglosses, etc. That pic is of the eyeshadow trio, it’s not an item that comes with the nail polish.

I actually like them but when I went to the MAC site to check them out, they do not show the case as being part of the purchase. That’s part of the fun Will have to see what I can find.

Anon #1 – sorry but I don’t have Tantalize Me anymore. It made my hands look alien-like so I gave it away. I believe it was a bit lighter than Varicose Violet

Anna – You’re welcome. I compared VV to Rodeo Drive and RD is similar but it’s more opaque and doesn’t have the blue flash that VV does. It’s definitely a bolder, brighter shade than VV.

Kate – Sure thing. It seems like a lot of my readers have so many polishes, they only want the truly unique. With all the bottles I have, I totally get that.

Brianne – It kills me. I get so excited about some of the lighter purples I find, only to have them look horrific on me.

I agree with you on that lilac family – so pretty in the bottle but they look awful when I put them on!

The purple looks similiar to ChG Tantalize Me. Can you swatch them side by side?
