Even though this is an over a year old input I have to ask you, how do you take so beautiful pictures so you can see the polish real colour in the photo? I’ve tried different lights and different settings on my camera but the pictures just won’t look like I want them to. If you have any tips or anything I would be very grateful.

I just got vendetta this christmas, but it doesn’t look the same in my pictures and in yours

I can’t believe the price of Chanel nail polish went up from $20 a month ago to $23 now. The only place I can find that is still selling it for $20 is Neiman Marcus.

I really like Vendetta – at least in your photos. I don’t think I can bring myself to spend $23 on a bottle of polish, though.

I love Sexy Divide; my mom bought it for me ’cause she knows I’m a purple fanatic. I think Vendetta looks a bit too dark. I have Blue Satin and LOVE IT, but I feel like the almost-black purple (and I know it’s a purple base) will not do anything for my nails. I have got to try Django, though. It looks gorgeous, and while I don’t wear sandy/nude shades often, I’m always looking for the next beautiful thing.

Oops. Just letting my geek flag fly. That’s too funny though. I might have gotten it if it had been, say, We for Vendetta, or Me for Vendetta, or — given the bottle price — Fee for Vendetta! But, alas, I am way slow.

Whoever brought Django Reinhardt into this: yeah, you may be overthinking this, but where else on the net can you discuss nail polish, art films, massively multiplayer online games, jazz guitarists, and major injury all in the same thread? Where, I ask you?

I might be over thinking this, but Django Reinhardt was a gypsy jazz guitarist with a unique style because two of his fingers were badly burnt. I’m not sure if this nail polish is supposed to be part of his vendetta, or if that name is unrelated, but it seems QUITE funny to name a nail polish after a guy with paralyzed fingers.
