Beauty 365 - Yummy is a great description. I seriously don't want to use any other brand now.

DarlingLuna - I wish I still had virgin hair, I could skip blow drying and still have perfectly straight hair. *sigh* Why did I the 80s & 90s talk me into a perm?

Sweetpea85 - I haven't tried Kiehl's, it's just not a brand I think of for haircare. Thanks for the rec though.

Kimberly - I've read great things from curly girls about Deva Curl. It's definitely on my list of brands to try.

DarlingLuna - I have never had any luck with Bed Head products. The whole different size bottles thing makes no friggin sense.

TarotByDiana - Isn't the site cool? They're way hipper than I am but that's ok.

Kirsten - I knew someone would mention Kerastase. I know so many people rave about them but I'm just so confused by all the different products. I have no idea what would be best for me and considering the cost, I'm not going to guess. My salon is an Aveda lifestyle salon so I need to find one that carries Kerastase so get a good rec.

Have you tried Kerastase’s Oleo Relax? I have the same issues with my hair. Its long and wavy, but is so insanely thick, seriously I have so much hair and the only thing that can tame and keep my color-treated damaged hair healthy is using Kerastase’s Oleo Relax Shampoo, Conditioning Mask, and Serum. If you haven’t tried their stuff yet I highly recommend it. I also use a microfiber hair towel when I get out of the shower and leave it on to let my hair air dry awhile then I use a T3 Featherweight blow dryer which literally works wonders.

I use Bed Head moisture maniac(not that great in my opinion), and the conditioner is smaller than the shampoo. It drives me absolutely nuts.

You might be interested in the Deva Curl products. I’ve found them to be the only things that tame my hair…

Have you tried Kiehl’s shampoos yet? I have hair very much like yours and I use the Olive Fruit Nourishing shampoo and love it. But then, I usually air dry my hair and just kind of run with the volume and waves Glad you found something you like!

My hair is just like yours when it’s long, even when I had “virgin” hair. I have it cut into a manageable pixie right now, so it’s pretty good. But I will definitely have to try this.
