Q & A – Looking For A Dupe

Hey kids! I’m flashing the bat signal because there’s a reader who needs your help.

T. loves OPI Red-y To Help but is having problems finding a bottle. She’d love a more accessible dupe. Since I don’t own it, I can’t help but I’m hoping you can. She would love to try Zoya so if you know of a clone from that line, let us know. Otherwise, any brand with a close shade will work. Submit your suggestions in the comments.

    Hi there,

I took a look on Ebay and they have 6 bottles on there. This is the Canadian site so I’m sure the US site has even more. They start at $10 a bottle. Hope this helps.

I don’t know about a dupe – Redy is sorta one of a kind – but I got my bottle at AvenueYou.

It’s not 100% a dupe, but the new Zoya Colbie looks like it would be a good substitute for Red-y. Red-y is a tad browner, IMO.

Item number: 320120103283 on ebay it the best price i found. Cheap shipping & they will replace if the bottle breaks in shipping.

On that note I am dying to get my hands on Mac Whirlwind, can anyone help me out?

M-The new China Glaze Rodeo Fanatic is suppose to be a very close dupe of Whirlwind. You might want to try that out.

You girls are the best! Thanks for all your input. I may have to pick up a bottle if it’s truly that unique as to not have a true twin.

And M – Tink is right, Rodeo Fanatic is very close to Whirlwind. I’ll be posting a comparison swatch with my collection review. Whirlwind has a tad more green to it.
