Is there a minimum purchase requirement at Carolyn New York? I really want to try Hanging on the Stoop, but every time I try to check out with just one bottle it won't let me. It will let me check out if I add a bottle. Thanks!

I should try this one – I bought Hangin on the stoop which I love. The formula is fab – dries fast, goes on beautiful and not streaky. I love the darker grey of HOTS but I think I might also have to try handball court.

This color is one of my first ventures away from my staple reds. I love the color, but the application looks very uneven on my nails. Even with two coats, I can see my tips through the color, and it is even more transparent on the sides of my nails. The only nail I have that looks even has a pretty thick coat on it, and it took quite a while to dry. Cincyfan, the color looks SO even on your nails. Can you give me some application tips? I donâ€™t usually ever wear a base coat or topcoat with my polishes. Did you use either in your photo? Please let me know. Thank you!

Anon #1 – I think the quality is just as good as the brands you mentioned. Honestly, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Anon #4 – I’ve been fortunate to not have any C.S. issues but I have read on the MUA boards about others’ problems and it’s a shame. I think it’s during the big sales that the majority of those problems happened.

Kirsten – I am soooo tempted by Concrete Jungle. Every pic I’ve seen of it is gorgeous. I just wish their shipping price wasn’t as inflated as the polish price.

Lena – The problem is that the descriptions on the CNY site don’t match with the polish names. It’s very confusing.

Anon #5 – I’m sorry that happened. It sounds like they sent you the correct color for that name. The problem is with the descriptions on their site. I suggest you call them and say that you ordered Hanging on the Stoop because you thought it was a pale grey (as described on the site) and hopefully they can correct the situation. Help! I just purchased “hanging on the stoop” from the Carolyn website. However, it’s not very pale and I don’t see any shimmer? I don’t want to order Handball Courts and get the wrong polish again. Any advice?

I LOVE greys. I get so many compliments whenever I wear my two best beloved greys, China Glaze Recycle and CND Hyde In The Dark, which I’m wearing now. Grey is chic and wearable, yet a little unexpected. It’s polished, yet a little punk. I love it and I can’t wait to get my mitts on this one.

Hey, I checked out the CNY website, you know I think you got the names mixed up, cause they do have a Handball Courts that is a grey.

Niweys, I think will try them both–I haven’t ventured yet into greys, and I think it’s about time w/ all the nice offerings…
