Good girl re: name change of polish. When I first saw it I didn’t see it as “you” at all and I’m glad you allowed it to be named after someone who it “is”. I’m sure one of these days we will see a better attempt. I think Zoya just missed the mark on this collection. I’m not wow-ed.

I just order about 6 zoya nail polishes since you rave about them and I have never tried them. I got lianne from this collection and Lo from the gossip one and a few from other old collections, so hopefully I love them and they look great!

I don’t blame you for not wanting that polish named after you because honestly it’s quite fugly (no offense to bekka though). Just not a very friendly color.

hmm lianne looks kinda nice…but it might be the orange pacific fiasco on me…bekka doesnt look green at all!!if they wanted to name an np after u, they shouldve ACTUALLY made it green. what a blah collection. when does the hills one come out? i think i might want the lauren conrad one.

Thank you for explaining the name change to us. What you decided was definitely very classy of you. I’m kinda mad of what they did, you know? Like hontapocasgreen said, they could have asked you what kind of green you wanted, or even if they didn’t ask you it’s pretty obvious from your blog. It would have been awesome if they created a Rainforest dupe named after you, but no, they had to make that yellowy thing.

Now to get back on topic, that orange is really pretty. I buy from 8ty8beauty and they don’t sell Zoya so I can’t try them, but I sure enjoy looking at your pics.

Anon #2 – I don’t have Gossip yet but when I do, you’ll see it.

Yummy – I have mixed green pigment before to make polish but I can’t make a glittery green. The glitter settles out. I think it’s a feat best left up to the manufacturers.

I understand you didn’t want to have this yellowish thing named after you:( I hope one day we will see true Mismas green!

And I always wanted to wear a shade of my name, but both Anne and now Annie by Zoya are warm toned which is not my thing at all. Poor me.
