Missed this post back in March. I use a Ruby and Millie glass file and my previously weak, peeling and flaking nails are now like steel. Read an article today (22 April) on a national newspapers website by the lady from Jessica recommending only using those nasty gritty cardboard backed files and insisting never never use crystal, metal or glass!! nearly broke all my nails typing in defence of glass files I was in such shock!

I m a big fan of glass files as well. My nails got better since I use them. I just buy no name files in German famacies - anything works the same! For the names I may mention a world-wide German company "Zwillinge" - "Twins" - they produce kitchen knifes and manicure tooles.
