Since my nails are still bare, what are you wearing? Give me inspiration to put some color on my tips.

So how awesome. Blogger just deleted my entire comment! Good to hear that you are feeling better!!!! Hurray!
This week I am wearing China Glaze An Affair to Remember on my fingernails and China Glaze Ruby Slippers on my toes. Guess it is a China Glaze kind of week! An Affair to remember is somewhat hard to describe as a color. Shiny metalic pinky berry is all I can come up with. It is from their valentines collection. I actually quite like it. Used the sticky sandwhich method this week and I must say my mani is still going strong and usually by now I’ve had to do some touch ups! LOVE IT!

I asked hubby what he wanted to see on my nails, and he likes reds (of course), so it’s Essie Scarlett O’Hara for me! Though, I think the next mani may be OPI Happy Anniversary! – I picked it up a while ago but haven’t brought myself to weart it yet. However, your recent challenge week (and the fact that temps here are finally above freezing) have inspired me! Glad to hear you’re feeling a little more normal!

I’m wearing Rimmel Lycrawear (best inexpensive polish ever!) in Coral Brown, which is a lovely, shimmery rose copper color.

Welcome back my dear!! I am currently wearing Garnet by Sally Hansen. This shade is to die for!! It looks fabulous on all skin types (and as an African-American I must say it looks especially great on African-Americans! A great fact to know as dark colors are sometimes a hit or miss with us).

Glad you’re better! I’m wearing Chanel’s Wonderland. It’s a shimmery, sparkly pale pink! Next I think I’m going to put on OPI’s Cajun Shrimp though. I want something bright for next week!

I’m so glad you are doing better!

I’m wearing China Glaze Ruby Slippers with polka dots on my toes! haha.

Anyway, I love your blog and I would love to hear your insight on my latest blog entry. I have a question posted there to help a friend out who is doing a research project for a drugstore aiming to sell higher end makeup.

    Keep up the great work!

I agree with the anonymous comment that Rimmel’s Lycra polish is FANTASTIC!

Right now I’m wearing a homemade color–Dark nails are not my forte, but it’s great to mix a dark polish into a color that you don’t like to see what you get! It’s a pink/plum with sparkles, it keeps me feeling festive.

I’m so glad that things are looking up for you. You’ll be back blogging and wearing polish before you know it. Take your time though, we’ll be here when you’re ready!

Yeah! I’m happy to see you’re feeling a little more up! We’ve missed you!
I’m wearing my favorite (I can’t stop wearing it!) Essie’s Wicked on my toes and fingers both. I get so many compliments on it at work that I can’t change yet!
I actually only started wearing Wicked due to your influence- with your dare to wear something out of the ordinary, I wore a color that wasn’t light pink. I now have a cart I’ve been working on at head 2 toe beauty that is about $90 worth of products, about 15 different colors from light pink Essie’s to Opi’s Lincoln Park after Midnight and no less than 3 silver polishes! I have also begun hunting down any bases/top coats you’ve mentioned and I’m testing various combinations- bonder with poshe, bonder with seche, bonder with out the door… . . My husband thinks that I am crazy! But, my current Wicked manicure has lasted 3 very busy days as an ICU MD with only a few small chips- I used to last only a few hours if I was lucky.
    You’ve changed my nails!
Please come back soon! Take care!

We’re here waiting for you! I’m not wearing anything on my nails now, but your blog inspires me to pull out my collection of 50+ polishes and get girlie…

I think I’ll either paint them using NYC Vintage Red (a dupe for Lincoln Park After Dark) OR a nice classic French manicure.

Glad to hear things are getting better.
I, too, have bare nails, letting them moisturize some from the cold weather. I am thinking about which polish next though. Dark pleasure Revlon patent leather I think. fun.

ALKJDSLFKJSD I JUST GOT MY COMPUTER BACK. Stupid Dell installed Windows with a corrupted register file and so two weeks ago, my beloved XPS 410 HAL unit imploded. So I apologize for this comment, which extremely extremely late.

I’m so happy to hear that you’re feeling better, m’dear! Can’t wait to see you posting again!

And as for what’s on my nails…well, it be a bit boring this week: two coats of MAC’s Nocturnelle with a light coat of Chanel’s Mercure (I found my perfect silver, after years of searching! Finally!) over it. It creates something of a gunmetal-blue undertoned polished metal finish. I like it, but then again, I’ve always loved the look of metal.

Next week, I’m going to put a coat of MAC’s Cabana over Chanel’s Noir Ceramic and see what happens.

(speaking of Chanel and their insane MUST HAVE NOW OR ALL SHALL PERISH blacks, I think they’ve bought back Black Satin to stay. so all those girls who paid thirty dollars and up on eBay…. well, I can’t stop sniggering at that. heeheehee.)

  18. LadyJMPH says:

This week I am wearing OPI’s Thrill of Brill on my toes and Serenade on my nails.

  19. Mina24 says:

Honeymoon Red by Sally Hansen on my toes and Ivory in Seconds on my fingers by Maybelline. I’m just beginning to collect nail polishes so I started with drugstore brands.
