I’m so proud of myself

This is how I spent my evening. It’s not exactly jet-setting around the world but it was fulfilling none the less. I assembled this little beauty all by myself and now I have the ultimate polish storage. My significant other is so happy to have a place to work in our office again. No more little boxes of polish and tools all over the desk and floor. It’s the most organized I’ve been in years.
If any of you store makeup, polish, craft supplies, etc in Sterilite 6 qt. shoe boxes, this cabinet by Sauder from Office Max is the perfect size. It’s the only one I found that is deep enough to hold a 14.5″ deep box. It also keeps curious pets or children out of your stash.

I love your storage! I have a small chest of drawers in our spare bedroom for my collection. I organize by color so I have a quick method of selection depending on my mood or need.
Have you ever tried the Joan Rivers collection? I ordered myself her mini-set last week, but haven’t used yet as this week I am ‘road testing’ the new Sally Hansen salon line.

Donna: I’m glad your lovin’ it here so far. I have not tried the Joan Rivers polish but I’ve read good things about it in the past. I hope you’ll report back when you’ve given it a test spin.

Just wondering, do you do your own manicures? They are fantastic! Feel like sharing your techniques with us manicure challenged girls? I love changing my polish every few days, but I only go in for weekly manicures so I would love to be able to do it myself and spend that money on polish rather than the mani itself!

Kat – Thank you for the compliment. I occasionally go for manis at a salon but for the most part, I do them myself. I plan to post a DIY mani guide very soon. Be on the lookout.
